Li Xiaolu, who was 16 years old at the time, won the Golden Horse Award for Best Actress, the Paris International Film Festival and other awards for this film. However, the film was not released in China. This self-selected collection of short stories and short stories mainly tells various stories that happened in special times. The titles include 7 short and medium-length novels, including "Heavenly Bath", "The Falling River", "The Actor", "Ugliness Trial", "The Death of the Second Lieutenant", "The Old Prisoner" and "The Love Dog". The main title "Heavenly Bath" tells the story of Wenxiu, a female educated youth who desperately wants to return to the city, and Lao Jin, a local Tibetan. Wenxiu sold his body just to return to the city, but Wenxiu's sacrifice did not give him the opportunity to return to the city. Lao Jin got angry with Wen Xiu and made a scene, and finally shot Wen Xiu to death in despair and was buried with her.

Every story is beautiful, and every story is so sad. I first thought that that special era created a special tragedy, but then I thought about it, it seems that human nature has never changed, and the pain, struggle and numbness in the disappointment of human nature are the same. Every story is a tragedy, and in every story at least one person dies, except for the Tibetan Mastiff in the end. I read, admired, and suffered.
