About This Novel
"I'm curious." Chitanda Eru muttered softly after watching the class-produced independent film to be shown at the cultural festival. At the end of that movie, a victim died in a locked ruins room. Who was the murderer? What was the modus operandi? The movie ends without any explanation at all. Chitanda, who was concerned about the follow-up, began to explore the ending together with her partner Oreki Houtaro and others.

The blind spot of thousands of people is also the blind spot of oneself, just like the power of Tarot cards mentioned in the book, the lion has no power but is always driven by others, and the same is true for Oreki Houtarou. Did Oreki really forget the rope the first classmate mentioned? What is the difference between geniuses and ordinary people? Are you really ordinary?
Is there really anything in the world that only you can do?
Everyone in the world should be self-aware People without talent will be powerless no matter how hard they try. Is that really so?
