About This Novel
The adapted novel of the animated film "The Garden of Words" written by Japan's "genius" animation director Makoto Shinkai, uses text to make up for various regrets that the 45-minute film version cannot present. Takao, a high school student who aims to become a shoemaker, likes to sneak to the Japanese garden in the park on rainy mornings to sketch shoe designs. One day, he met a mysterious woman who was older than him - Xueye. At first, Takao was a little distanced by Yukino's unconventional behavior in formal workplace attire, but on subsequent rainy days, the two always met in the courtyard by chance. After several conversations, the beautiful and mysterious Yukino and the young and strong Takao gradually opened their hearts, sharing their troubles and ideals with each other, and the two young hearts gradually got closer. However, at this time, Takao discovered that Yukino was actually a classical literature teacher who had caused an uproar in his school and had to resign. Xueye was under pressure and confused because of this setback, and he didn't even know how to continue his life... Young Takao didn't want to see Xueye continue to be depressed, so he expressed his feelings and customized the first pair of women's shoes for her, hoping that Xueye would be able to walk on bravely. Encouraged, Xueye regained her confidence and made up her mind to return to her hometown to coach again... Is this the reason why the two separated? Please enter the novel world of "The Garden of Words" and further experience the "lonely and sad love" world constructed by Makoto Shinkai.

I only read the novel because of the movie. I just felt so uncomfortable during the few days I watched the movie. Everyone is a strange person! The admiration and tears that came out of Qiuyue and Xueye's embrace during the heavy rain were so touching. But the text can better understand the inner world of everyone in the story. The words of the novel and the images of the movie. It's so rare for me. In this boring reinforced concrete city, at this age that is no longer youthful. It is even more so in this laid-out framework of secularity. It is really like a stream of clear water, like a paradise, nourishing the anxious heart. There is so much pure love like this in this world. Looking at the tall buildings in the city, I just feel suffocated. Most people hate rainy days! No way of knowing if anyone likes it! Looking at the same scenery, only when I think about everything in it, there will be a pleasant tranquility. But these things in the story are exactly the opposite of reality. Only by putting on headphones and listening to the BGM and the artistic conception described by the words in front of me can I get the peace I long for. Close your eyes, this is probably the light in your heart. I used to like rain, but now I like it even more!
The Garden of Words
I particularly like the movie Garden of Words and want to see the sequel.
Are there any other good books? (Written by Makoto Shinkai)
Is 4 yuan expensive to buy a book? The physical price of this book is 32. . .
The Garden of Words
There is faint thunder and the sky is hazy, but I hope the wind and rain will come and can keep you here. There is faint thunder and a hazy sky. Even if there is no rain, I will stay here.
A beautiful but poignant love story(.'▽'.)♡
The novel sublimates the anime, but there is still no ending.
Already invested, is four yuan expensive to buy a book?
After reading the novel, I was even more shocked than the anime. The understanding of unrequited love has been perfectly interpreted by different characters, giving people a sense that it can be met but not sought, and then slowly blends in over the course of time!
Attracted by movies
After watching the movie, I deliberately read the novel!
