About This Novel
The protagonist "I" is a junior student at Kyoto University. I wholeheartedly look forward to being accompanied by a black-haired girl and living a wonderful rose-colored campus life. However, things went against expectations, relationships failed, bad friends were made, and good opportunities were missed. In the end, they always retreated into the small "four-and-a-half-story dormitory" and wasted two full years of college. "If I had made a new choice, would I have experienced a completely different kind of college life?" - This work starts from this proposition and uses a parallel time and space perspective to imagine what a different youth story would happen if the protagonist returns to his freshman year and chooses a club again.

After watching the anime and reading the novel, I have to admire the expressiveness and imagination of the anime. I also like the author's descriptions of the novel. I like Four and a Half because of everyone.
