About This Novel

Through the channel of poetics, Bachelard attempts to restore the marriage of imagination and perception, that is, imagination exists before perception. He proposed the metaphysics of dreams: I dream, so the world exists through my dreams. And in the fire array he created, the world was indeed melted and recast in the flames he raised. The pure area opened by fire, the limit of fire, whether it is at the top of the flame or in the heart of the fire, the face of fire flows with the trembling of water. Therefore, fire becomes the watchman at both ends of the head and rat, material/spiritual, real/virtual. When fire turns to become a spiritual statue, fire does not forget its own body outside the burning. I think that a person who does not try his best to understand "Candle Fire" will easily miss out on poetry and metaphysical thoughts.
