About This Novel
Most of Xiaowei's sheep are grazed in a large grassy beach. There are some long aquatic plants there, and not far from the aquatic plants there is a very big pond, flat and like a mirror. It was a land without crops, but the farm was large and there was food. When Mingzi and Xiaowei are free, they sit on a high ground not far from the pond. Mr. Li Han was wearing a thick cotton coat and sitting across from him with his hands wrapped. Sometimes he didn't speak and just looked at the sheep and laughed. Sometimes he would tell Zhuo Wei and Ming Zi about some of the poultry he had raised before, how much water the old cow could drink every night to be full, and how long it took for the little donkey to get lost before it was found. Sometimes they would stand up and ask the sheep not to get too close to the beach, saying that it was spring and the sheep would fall if they couldn't keep it. The sheep walked around beside them looking for food.
