About This Novel
"Jingkang Xia Lu" tells the story of the Jingkang period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1126-1127). The Jin army captured Tokyo and captured more than 3,000 people including Huizong, Qinzong, his father and son, the Zhao royal family, and concubines, and escorted them northward. The eighteenth son of Huizong, King Xin Zhao Zhen, luckily escaped, so he joined forces with Ma Kuo, Zhao Bangjie and other martial arts heroes to embark on the road to pursue and rescue the two emperors of Huizong. This book tells the story of Zhao Zhen and the knights in the rivers and lakes who are in hot pursuit, but they always miss the Emperor Huiqin who is being released. Some people died on the way, while others finally responded to Zongze's call and joined the anti-Jin army; King Xin decided to embark on the confusing road of pursuing and protecting his father and brother alone.
