This book is China's first full-length novel describing the Neolithic Age when the Yellow Emperor conferred the title of "King of Pottery" Ning Fengzi. The novel uses the personal growth background and historical background of Ning Fengzi (Tao Zheng, the inventor of "pottery" and the chief of the pottery industry in the Neolithic Age, under the Yellow Emperor) as clues to show a picture of the evolution of primitive tribes in the Neolithic Age with clear historical data and rich imagination.
