About This Novel
Chu Fujin, a native of Yixing, Jiangsu, was born in Shanghai. He once served as a novel editor in the editorial department of "Yuhua". Graduated from the Lu Xun Literary College of the Chinese Writers Association and the Chinese Department of Nanjing University. He is currently a professional writer of the Jiangsu Writers Association and vice chairman of the Jiangsu Writers Association. First-class writer. He enjoys special allowances from the State Council and was awarded the title of "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Jiangsu Province". He has published and published twelve novels including "Black and White" and "The Gate of the Heart", more than 50 novellas such as "Naked Wilderness" and "The Degree of Man", and more than 100 short stories such as "Color·Moss·Sorrow" and "Sewing". Two collections of essays, including "A Rest in the Zen Garden". He has written many articles on literary theory. Many works have been translated into English and French. He won the 1992 Zhuang Chongwen Literary Award of the Chinese Writers Association, the Jiangsu Provincial Government Literary and Art Award, the Purple Mountain Literary Award, the "Beijing Literature" Award, the "Shanghai Literature" Award, the "Zhongshan" Literary Award, the "Tianjin Literature" Award, the "Furong" Literary Award, the New World Literature Award, and the Budding Literature Award.
