About This Novel
On December 4, 1941, a gray figure was walking quickly on the streets of Washington, USA. He is Detective Milton Keele. It's not his turn to worry about the war. What he has to do now is solve the case. Half an hour ago, he received a call to the police. Someone found a body in Block 3. Snowflakes fell on his hat, some drifting to his eyebrows. He threw away the cigarette butt, pressed down the brim of his hat, curled up his neck and pulled up his collar, preparing to turn the corner. The red cigarette butt, with a little heat, melted in the thin snow on the road with a "sizzling" sound. When throwing away the cigarette butt, his eyes stayed on his right hand. At the location of the wrist artery, there is a small piece of strangely shaped redness that looks like a corroded fallen leaf.
