I was really touched. It was recommended by a friend and it was the first online novel that I read with all my heart.
Thanks to the author, it's really thoughtful. As a post-2000 generation, to be honest, I know very little about opera. Although I had listened to some operas before and could hum a few lines of Xipi Liushui, it was only after reading this novel that I realized the importance of opera to the Chinese people. Without further ado, let's go to the theater.
I think "Xue Yong Lan Guan" is more real and meaningful than other novels, and better than many novels made into TV series nowadays. In Xueyonglanguan, there is a love between children, but there is no lack of loyalty, filial piety, etiquette, benevolence, justice, propriety, wisdom, and trust. There is also the appreciation that old Chinese artists have for their own skills. It is a masterpiece comparable to Farewell My Concubine.
If it is adapted into a film and television work, I will definitely watch it
Before reading, Hui Hui said that if this book was adapted into a film and television drama, she had thought about all the existing male actors in China, but could not think of anyone suitable to play the leading role in the book. I didn't think so at the time, thinking that it wouldn't be that exaggerated... After reading the whole book, I really agree with the author's statement.

The story is well written and the author did a great job. When people are in troubled times, there are many national conditions. The pitiful smile made me laugh, but I still had tears on my lap. I just found this article, but haven't had the courage to read it yet.
