About This Novel

This book is a historical novel about Richard III. The remains of Richard III were discovered in Leicestershire, England, in 2013. The medieval king was buried again in March 2015. There are three protagonists in this book: Thomas More in 1535, George Buck in 1619, and Jennifer Simpson in 1984. In reading about their respective plights, readers will also form their own opinions about historiography and Shakespeare's play.
