About This Novel

Paul was unaware of his family's Jewish origins and rarely traveled with his relatives. He accidentally visited the museum at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp and saw his aunt Rosie Glaser's name on the name tag of a suitcase. He spent many years collecting a large amount of information and finally revealed a secret family past. Story: Before the outbreak of World War II, Rosie Glaser was an internationally renowned dance teacher. She was young and beautiful, with extraordinary dancing skills and a promising life. However, she was betrayed by her husband during the German occupation of the Netherlands. Like many Jews at that time, she was sent to a concentration camp by the Nazi SS. Young Rosie experienced a total of seven concentration camps during the war. She was tortured but never lost her will to survive. During the day she worked as hard as other prisoners, but at night she transformed into a dance and etiquette teacher, teaching the Nazi officers in the concentration camp. Betrayal, imprisonment, pain, despair... When life encounters sudden darkness, perhaps staying alive is the only answer.
