This collection collects reminiscence articles written by old teachers and alumni of the Department of Biology of Zhejiang University and the former Department of Biology of Hangzhou University, recording a short period of relevant history of the development of the Department of Biology of Zhejiang University (1952-1998), and briefly reviewing the scholarship, educational philosophy and "truth-seeking spirit" of the Department of Biology of Zhejiang University advocated by the older generation of educators and scientists such as President Zhu Kezhen and Mr. Bei Shizhang.
