About This Novel
A perverse and rebellious fifteen-year-old girl, and a father who makes a living selling awnings in a dilapidated store, had no contact with each other in the fourteen years before this summer. Now, girls who have committed the "unforgivable sin" are sent to spend the summer with their father, which seems like a punishment. Reunion after a long absence, time gap, different concepts, the gap between rich and poor... These all erect an invisible wall between father and daughter.
