Father's Bicycle
by Three Three
About This Novel
That spring, my father went to the provincial capital. He had more than 100 yuan in his pocket, which his mother asked him to buy curtains. However, the curtains failed to be purchased. On a whim, he bought a bicycle and rode back all the way. When his father and the bicycle appeared at the street corner, just as he had happily and proudly predicted and expected along the way: the whole Jimluo town was taken by surprise. It was dinner time, and people were squatting at the door of their courtyards with bowls in their hands, chatting while eating. The evening wind swirled low against the ground at my feet, and an apricot-colored sunset was quietly sliding toward the horizon. At this time, the fourth uncle looked over the rim of the bowl and softly shouted: "Oh my God..." He opened his eyes wide and stopped chewing in his mouth.
