This book tells the true story of the author Thad Hughes getting married to a Chinese girl. In February 2005, the author Thad Hughes came to Chongqing, China for the first time, wanting to experience the local culture, food, and understand the local customs. A Chinese friend of Sade's led him to an unsuccessful attempt. Suffering from this emotional setback, after a period of self-healing, Sade returned to China to find another beautiful woman. After dating several Chinese girls, he finally captured the heart of his dream lover and was accepted by his future mother-in-law, as well as her family and friends. In the end, the exotic couple held a grand Chinese-style wedding in Chongqing. A year later, they gave birth to their son, and the family went to the United States to live a happy life.
