About This Novel
This book tells a story: A cholera epidemic made the surly Mary an orphan, and she had to be sent to live at Clermont Manor in Yorkshire, England. Mary accidentally finds the door and key to this secret garden with the help of a robin, and meets the boy Colin. With Mary's help, Colin felt the warmth of life and learned to run and laugh in the secret garden. The power of nature changed everything, and the ancient manor and its owner, which had been shrouded in gloom for many years, were reborn.
