This is a collection of character chronicles and essays, and it is also a youth epic in the form of a biography. The author Liu Maijia uses the past events of twelve people to write about the youth of a generation. These people are either clumsy, or outstanding, or have been let down, or have gone crazy together. These past events are blood and dreams, friendship and bonds, lies and betrayal, tears and deception. In this book you will see dark history, revelations, loss of moral integrity and feuding, but you will not see "thank you" and "sorry". That is the responsibility of eulogies, and the responsibility of this book is to record those things that have passed, but are the best memories. It is the people around us who make us who we are, and it is we who make us young.
