About This Novel
An'an drew the curtains, put up the mosquito net, and I got under the quilt. On such cloudy and rainy days, the light is always dim and there is an indescribable coldness, so turn on the incandescent lamp and use the light to add some warmth. I like rainy days and I like to touch the moist and soft smell with my nose. It's like close people are close together, exchanging each other's breath. When it's not raining, I often hold a cup of hot tea, my lips close to the cup, and the tip of my nose rests on the rim of the cup, letting the hot water vapor surround me until the water mist licks away my low-hanging eyelashes and spreads all over my eyes. I read "Dramaturgy" on my pillow when I was a freshman, and I still find it a bit obscure when I read it. The book is spread out like this, giving the eyes a place to rest, and then letting the thoughts wander freely, and never taking them back again after they spread out.
