About This Novel
This book contains the author's miscellaneous historical discussions in the twenty years from Yuanfeng to Yuanfu. It is what Su Shi saw and heard during his travels and conversations. He recorded all the strange people and strange things that he could understand and cannot understand. The content is extensive and he talks about everything. His articles are of any length, ranging from a thousand words to a few words, but most of them are short. They are all written with confidence and ease, reflecting the author's literary style of flowing clouds and flowing water, which is the origin of sketches in the late Ming Dynasty.
