"Gu Wen Guan Zhi" is an anthology of ancient prose that has been very popular since the Qing Dynasty. It was compiled and selected by Wu Chucai and Wu Tiaohou of the Qing Dynasty during the Kangxi period. A total of 222 articles with high ideological and artistic qualities from the pre-Qin Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty were selected, including Confucian classics and historical essays, as well as biographies, letters, debates, and even travel notes and fables.
