About This Novel
Shishuoxinyu compiled by Liu Yiqing of the Southern Song Dynasty is divided into 36 categories such as virtue, speech, politics, literature, integrity, and elegance. It has more than 1,100 short stories, mainly describing the anecdotes of wealthy nobles and bureaucrats from the late Eastern Han Dynasty to the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
