About This Novel
"Huajian Collection" is a collection of ci written by Zhao Chongzuo during the Later Shu Dynasty in the Five Dynasties of my country. It contains 18 ci poems by Wen Danjun, Wei Zhuang, Ouyang Jiong, etc. In the late Tang and Five Dynasties periods, and is divided into ten volumes. This is the earliest extant Ci Zongxiu. During the Five Dynasties period, the Central Plains was in turmoil and the army was in chaos. Western Shu and the Southern Tang Dynasty were located in remote areas, so the kings could still live in peace and express their love. "Flower Room Collection" was produced under this background. The style is mainly graceful and soft, with rich language. This is how the "Huajian Ci School" with its fragrant style was formed. In terms of the development of Ci, these works occupy a certain pivotal position. They are the transformation of Yuefu in the Han and Wei dynasties and the development of the Tang poetry genre, and directly became the forerunners of Song Ci.
