About This Novel

Li Tianfu (1635-1699), known as the "Hefei Prime Minister". His "Collection of One Hundred and Twenty Ancient Palace Ci Poems of the Tang Dynasty" with a small quotation (preface) was originally printed in the fourth year of Kangxi's reign and is now in the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is believed to be the only copy at home and abroad. This collection of poems adopts the traditional style of collection of verses, and combines Tang poetry into seven-character quatrains in the palace style. It refers to the past and the present, alluding to the name of Empress Dong of Shunzhi, Bai Qinglian, and narrating the difficult experience, court life and inner world of Empress Dong of Shunzhi. It is of great historical and literary value.
