Songs of Chu
by Qu Yuan
About This Novel
"Songs of Chu" is my country's first collection of romantic poems. It was written by Liu Xiang, a writer in the Western Han Dynasty, and includes 16 works by Qu Yuan and Song Yu, as well as works by Dongfang Shuo, Wang Bao, Liu Xiang and others in the Han Dynasty that imitated Qu Yuan and Song Yu. "Chu Ci" mainly expresses personal emotions. It has grand chapters, rich imagination, gorgeous literary talent, uneven sentence patterns and rich changes. It created the tradition of Chinese romantic literature and occupies an important position in the history of Chinese poetry. This book selects Qu Yuan's famous works such as "Li Sao", "Nine Songs", "Heavenly Questions", "Nine Chapters", "Yuan Yu", "Divination" and "The Fisherman".
