About This Novel
"Song Ci" (original title "Selected Annotations of Song Ci") was compiled and selected by Wu Dunsheng during the Republic of China. The book is divided into three volumes, with a total of 142 poets from the Song Dynasty and more than 300 poems, totaling 115 tones and 136 styles. The first volume is a "Biography of the Author", which introduces the life and achievements of the selected poets. This book is organized by the name of the ci brand, in order of the number of words in the ci score. As the name of the formal lexicon, it is often also marked with tone, rhyme, sentence pronunciation, etc. Judging from the compilation and selection style of the entire book, the purpose of the editor is not to allow readers to purely appreciate the literary and artistic beauty of the lyrics and understand the creative style of a certain lyricist, but rather to allow readers to understand the rhythm of each lyric score, and to gain a deeper understanding of the creation of lyrics through representative lyrics and gain a glimpse of its secrets.
