About This Novel

Liu Yong (about 987-about 1053), whose original name was Sanbian, also named Jingzhuang, later changed his name to Yong, also named Qiqing, ranked seventh, also known as Liu Qi. He was a Jinshi in the Renzong Dynasty of Song Dynasty, and became a tuntian Yuanwailang. In his old life, he was called Liu tuntian. He was a famous poet in the Northern Song Dynasty. He devoted his whole life to writing lyrics. He was said to be "anyone who has well water to drink can sing willow lyrics." He had a great influence on the development of Song poetry.
