A new work by military writer Xu Jian tells the story of a severe ice and snow disaster in the south this spring. One hundred thousand soldiers from the State Grid fought hard to fight the disaster and deliver electricity. The launch ceremony of the work and then the discussion were held in the Great Hall, with very high standards, in order to express respect for the fallen heroes and their families. While sitting there I heard the sound of tears. Literary people all said in their speeches that the country is suffering a lot but the people have a conscience.
