About This Novel

Since viruses can mutate, so can we. The upgraded version of "Blood Epidemic" directly attacks the global public health crisis in the 21st century! _X000b_WHO believes that the 2014 Ebola epidemic showed that "the world is not prepared to deal with a severe influenza pandemic and global public health emergency." The Ebola epidemic is more like part of a pattern, a shockwave caused by a new virus jumping out of an ecosystem. The virus multiplied itself in the population, devoured lives, encountered resistance from the human species, and eventually died out. But what will be the next shock wave? The past is slowly turning into the future, and now I am going to predict a global outbreak caused by an emerging virus at biosafety level 4, which is airborne and spreads from person to person. There is no vaccine, and it is incurable with modern medicine. In the technical terms, this is a level 4 event. A recent study completed by the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health found that all U. S. Hospitals combined have only 142 red zone beds that can treat patients infected with hemorrhagic fever viruses such as Ebola, and fewer than 400 red zone beds that can treat patients infected with high-risk airborne viruses. Therefore, if a level 4 event breaks out, there will only be 542 red zone beds in the entire United States. We must ask the question: If a new Level 4 virus spread to millions of people in North America or any continent, would hospitals be able to handle and care for that many patients? If the number of infected exceeds one million, will epidemiologists be able to track and break the chain of infection?

Always in awe

A very good book, combined with the new coronavirus that is raging around the world today, allows us to popularize the occurrence and outbreak of the virus from another angle. It also makes us stand in awe of the noble behavior of doctors in special times, and is moved by the love and kindness that human beings still have in the face of catastrophic disasters. I pay tribute to you and to us. Every life on the earth should be born towards the sun and never give up!

This will be the best and most shocking book I have read this year. What is even more shocking is that it records a real historical event.
