About This Novel

"Lu Xun's Youth" is a review and summary of Lu Xun's literary accomplishment. It focuses on Lu Xun's life experience and literary thinking in the first thirty years, especially his study in his youth. These are collectively called by Zhou Zuoren: the "beginning" of literary creation. During this stage, the transformation process of Lu Xun's attitude towards studying was also the process of his literary creation from immaturity to maturity.
