Through the life experiences of more than thirty villagers, it restores the life journey of individual farmers during social changes. It also reflects the social changes of an ordinary village and sketches a historical microcosm of China's rural areas for a century. The dictators of the manuscript appear under pseudonyms, and the real names of places have been withheld.
