About This Novel

In the spring of 2016, writer Don Gilmour went to Whitehorse, Canada, to try to review his brother David's last days in this city. David is a talented musician. However, in December 2015, his truck and cowboy hat were found along the Yukon River. Regarding David's "disappearance", his family, colleagues and friends have their own understandings and speculations. Some people think that he left his hometown, some believe that he was murdered, and more people believe that the 48-year-old chose to drown in a river when he gave up his past noisy nightlife and started working regularly during the day. As the author prepared to paddle down the Yukon River in search of clues, David's body was found. So, riding a canoe down the river became Gilmore's journey to trace and mourn his brother...
