Occasionally Travel Far
by Zhou Guoping
About This Novel
The only travel notes of the philosopher Zhou Guoping so far, a collection of travel prose with a very humanistic flavor. The whole book is divided into two parts. The previous chapter records the beginning and end of the trip to King George Island in Antarctica. The "Humanities Scholar's Trip to Antarctica" was originally a news event. In the author's opinion, it has nothing to do with news. It is a person's 58 days and nights on an isolated island, experiencing the silence of life in the eternally desolate polar region. The second part is about traveling in Europe, passing through Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and other countries, either walking, staying for a short time, or searching. From the perspective of a thinker and a foreigner, I can feel the depth and color of Western humanities and history.
