About This Novel

"The pearls and jade in the world are as safe as a pill of dirt at the head of Yangxian River." This is the Qing Dynasty poet Wang Wenbai's praise of Yixing purple clay pots in "Ceramics". After hundreds of years, people should see that this praise is not excessive. But if the information conveyed by ancient poems is believable, Yixing's purple clay pottery would have been on the desks of literati in the Northern Song Dynasty, along with the celadon inkjet from Longquan kiln or the Bijiashan from Ge kiln. However, it did not appear as an art at the beginning. Instead, like many other ceramics, it was used as a daily necessities to solve life problems. It was not until the seventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty that Longtuan tea was replaced by loose tea, and it gradually became a tea utensil played by scribes or desk supplies.
