About This Novel

"Back" is the first collection of essays by Zhu Ziqing, a famous modern Chinese writer. The original version was published by Kaiming Bookstore in October 1928. The first volume of this book includes the chapters from the 1928 edition of "Back", while the "Collection of Classics" includes Zhu Ziqing's other masterpieces, such as "Spring", "Hurry", "Qinhuai River in the Shadow of Oars and Lanterns", "Trace of Wenzhou" (one of which is "Green")... These chapters are widely circulated, and many of them have been included in Chinese textbooks in primary and secondary schools across the country. Zhu Ziqing worked hard on the use of language, which is vivid in its simplicity. In addition, he is very familiar with Chinese classical poetry and often picks it up at his fingertips. It has become an integral part of his works. It is rich in Chinese characteristics and can be called "a model of vernacular art literature."
