"Old Shadows of Red Mansions" is a collection of essays by Mr. Zhang Zhonghang. It mainly writes about old people and old stories centered on Peking University in the early 1930s. This book selects more than 30 chapters from Taiyan, Gu Hongming, Liang Shuming, and Xiong Shili. In the author's own words, "There are people who can be passed down in the shadows, things that can be felt, and emotions that can be recalled. Together they become a 'situation' that was seen in the past." It is both poetry and history.
