About This Novel

A collection of essays written by Comrade Hui Liangyu, former member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, after his retirement, was recently published by the China Yanshi Press of the Research Office of the State Council for public distribution nationwide. Since retiring from his job in 2013, the author has written seven essays based on decades of work and life experience.
