About This Novel
"In the Window and Out of the Window" is a collection of 46 essays written by Brigitte Lin in the past five years. Although it is an old work, the book records her various life experiences after she became famous with "Out of the Window" at the age of 19. Every word is true and profound. "Inside and Outside the Window" is divided into six chapters: "Play" tells her debut story, the joys and sorrows of filming, and her inner thoughts about her work; "Pro" talks about her family and affection; "Friends" writes about her interactions with close friends, detailing her interactions with San Mao, Huang Zhan, Leslie Cheung, Qiong Yao, Tsui Hark and others. "Interest" refers to her life memories, including her travels and her encounters with movie fans; "Yuan" writes about her unforgettable encounters in her life, such as her friendship with reporters and her meeting with Ji Xianlin; "Enlightenment" records her understanding and touching of life, as well as the story of her seeking enlightenment from Master Shengyan. In addition, the book also fully contains some unpublished photos of Brigitte Lin.
