It contains several reading essays and notes written by the author in the 1980s, 1990s and 1930s and 1940s. Mr. Jin is a cultural master. His academic research covers many fields, and his hobbies span Chinese and Western ancient and modern arts and sciences. The short essays in this book range from Indian philosophy to Chinese culture, from classical poetry to "Gestalt" psychology. They may seem complicated, but they are a concentrated expression of the author's lifelong efforts to solve cultural mysteries and explore new cultural knowledge. After reading many articles today, I still feel that they are innovative and inspiring, full of strong curiosity and the strength of my thoughts to explore the world.
