About This Novel
Liang Shiqiu's "Ya She Essay" is a miracle in the history of modern Chinese prose. It depicts ordinary things, such as tea, wine, plants and trees, but the chapters are exquisite, elegant, humorous, interesting, full of life wisdom and philosophy of life. "Yashe" was Liang Shiqiu's residence in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War. Yesterday, for some unknown reason, I couldn't check in.
I learned about the author through a dictionary many years ago
Thinking of another book, I remember when I was young.
