This book is a collection of the author's management essays and reading notes. It is divided into three parts to explain the challenges brought by the development of society and technology to organizational management and possible solutions. Most of the articles included in the first part, "Future and Today," discuss the roles and functions of managers and employees when "the future is already here" (robots, unmanned stores, and the spread of the Internet). The articles in the second part "Rationality and Emotion" mainly include two categories: one is about rational practice and thinking in organizational management, and the other is about the grasp of human emotions in work and life. The third part, "Ancient and Modern," is a record of the author's study visit to the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, which focuses on the initiatives of the world's oldest university to continuously advance with the times and create knowledge and ideas for mankind.
