About This Novel

This is a collection of a Chinese who came to study in the UK and lived in three places (London, Taipei, and Hong Kong). The life of a graduate student is boring and lonely, so reading should not and cannot be the only way to study. In the past few years, I have been living in a rented "island room" in a different place, spending most of my time in the British Library, the Royal Concert Hall, the Premier League stadium, Charing Cross Bookstore, and whiskey tavern.
