About This Novel
"Collection of Xixi's Poems" is a collection of Xixi's poetry creation over forty years (1959-1999). It covers Xixi's feelings, observations, experiences and understandings in different eras. It is divided into three volumes and has a total of one hundred poems. Volume 1 is the early work (1982) published under the title of "Stone". Volumes 2 and 3 are poetry works accumulated in the 1990s. They fully reflect Xixi's experiments and gains in the field of modern poetry in addition to novels and prose. They have a wide range of themes, unique style, frankness and humor. She writes about relatives and friends, about the struggle when learning to use computers, from fast food restaurants to the subway, from going to the hospital to practicing Tai Chi, and then extending to her reflections on travels.
