About This Novel
This book was co-authored by Gao Hu, the founding member and lead singer of the band, current guitarist Song Jie, bassist Zhang Jing, and drummer Dawei. It tells the story of how they each fell in love with music when they were growing up, and then embarked on the tortuous journey of music. The experiences of Gao Hu and several other band members are a microcosm of the experiences of that generation of Chinese rock musicians. Therefore, in the book, we can learn about the life profile of people who have experienced rock musician gathering places such as Midi Music School, Shucun, and Huoying. After the band was formed, the band went through hard work for a long time. Everyone faced the hardships of life and doubts from people around them almost all the time. However, the band was not defeated by the difficulties before them and moved forward persistently for the "painful faith" in their hearts. The band has insisted on touring the country for more than ten years. With the support of fans, they still have not stopped their music and have not stopped expressing their rock and roll spirit through music...
