About This Novel
"Faust" is Goethe's representative work, a poetic tragedy. It was created based on a folk legend in the 16th century. It is a masterpiece that Goethe devoted his whole life to writing. After reading it again, there is still no big gain. It is much better than the first time. You may need to read it a few more times.
It is a good book with good use of words.
At the end of Faust, I seemed to see the shadow of Napoleon. Napoleon happened to be on a small island, and Faust also happened to be put on a small island. However, there are too many Western myths in it, which is still a bit difficult for Easterners to understand.
Strange imagination and thought-provoking
Goethe experienced the process of seeking the truth of the universe through his contract with the devil, showing a full expression of emotion. Based on the cornerstone of human nature's pursuit of love, it gradually sublimated into the pursuit of career success. As far as the writing is concerned, the imagination is weird and goes beyond the level of knowledge and thought. In a practical sense, there is a lot of enlightenment. We must constantly pursue the truth, pursue new knowledge, purify ourselves, improve ourselves, uplift ourselves, and help God to help us!
