"Three Hundred Tang Poems" was compiled during the Qianlong period. The whole book contains a total of 310 ancient and modern poems of 57 characters selected into eight volumes, or six volumes. The appendix contains a biography of the author and the original preface. The compilation and selection focus on popularization, and the selected poems are all well-known and famous poems. These famous poems have harmonious phonology, are easy to read, are close to the subject and are thought-provoking, and the diction is clear and beautiful, making it easy to understand. They are especially suitable for teaching children.
