About This Novel
"Listening with the Mountains" is a collection of poetry dialogues by Jidi Maga, one of the most internationally influential poets in contemporary China, a poet of the Yi ethnic group and vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association. It contains 25 dialogues about poetry between the author and well-known Chinese and foreign poets and media figures, including one with Yevtushenko, a famous poet from the Soviet Union and Russia.
