"Zhu Ziqing's Prose" is a variety in the series. Zhu Ziqing (1898-1948), whose original name was Zihua and whose nickname was Qiushi, was later renamed Ziqing and whose courtesy name was Peixian. Chinese modern essayist, poet, and scholar. Originally from Shaoxing, Zhejiang, he was born in Donghai County, Jiangsu Province, and later settled in Yangzhou. He calls himself "I am a Yangzhou native". He once served as the director of the Department of Chinese Literature at Tsinghua University. His representative works are the collection of essays "Back", and other collections of essays such as "Miscellaneous Notes on Travels in Europe" and "Miscellaneous Notes on London". This book selects about 60 of Zhu Ziqing's most accomplished essays, such as "The Qinhuai River in the Shadow of the Lamp", "Back View", "Moonlight over the Lotus Pond", "Spring", etc. They are arranged in chronological order to show the changes in the writer's creative style over time.
