"Endymion" is a long narrative poem by Keats. Endymion is a famous handsome man in Greek mythology. His love story with the moon goddess Selene is well known. The author borrowed from Greek mythology and wrote this early masterpiece in heroic couplet, telling the story of Endymion, a shepherd boy on Mount Latamos, who fell in love with the moon goddess. They met at night, their love was deep and passionate. However, the love between mortals and goddesses was not blessed by destiny.
